What is microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is an excellent modern treatment for skin rejuvenation. A stream of fine crystals is blasted over the face in a manner analogous to the way in which a building is restored by sandblasting. The fine crystals partially remove the outermost layer of the skin, allowing the cells beneath to multiply and renew the surface.
