Medical Tattooing, or cosmetic pigment camouflage is a post surgery treatment. It is a method of implanting coloured pigments and blending them into the skin to camouflage an imperfection or to create an optical effect.

Semi permanent make-up is non-surgical procedure used to implant coloured pigments into the skin to create or enhance a cosmetic appearance. The technique can be applied for eyebrows, eyeliner and lips.
