The team at Deep Blue Skin Technology are led by our aesthetic nurse practitioner Gill Thornton.

Gill is a Registered General Nurse with over 20 years experience. She has wide experience ranging from specialist Intensive Care practice to a Theatre Sister specialising in Plastic Surgery. Gill is fully trained in a wide variety of medical aesthetic procedures. She is a member of The Royal College of Nursing, a registered member of the Aesthetic Practitioners Group and has written articles for professional journals.

Being nurse led and having exceptionally high standards have helped Deep Blue Skin Technology to achieve the exacting standards required for Health Care Commission registration.

The Care Standards Act 2000 requires businesses providing treatments using lasers or intense pulsed light (IPL) systems to:

* Display a certificate of Registration with the Healthcare Commission
* Comply with the Regulations and Standards
* Be inspected by the Healthcare Commission
